Mr.Sunshine is a South Korean historical romance TV series. This series stars my favorite star cast Lee Byung-Hun, Kim Tae-Ri, Kim Min-jung, Byun Yo-hn, and Yoo Yeon-Seok. For those who are fond of real historic documentaries kinda series, this one is for you. Unlike other historical dramas, Mr.Sunshine includes some real historical happenings from Korean history. The story is from the late ’80s to early ’90s mainly focusing on Righteous Army.

Mr.Sunshine is the story about Joseon’s sovereignty (Joseon- a Korean Dynastic kingdom that lasted for over 5 centuries). Eugene Choi (played by Lee Byung-hun) was born a slave in Joseon who managed to escape to the United States after the Korean Expedition in 1871. He becomes a Mariner and returns to Joseon for a mission, where he meets Go Ae-shin (played by Kim Tae-Ri) and falls in love with her. It’s full of historical events, romance, and melodrama!!

Stranger (adapted from the fantasy novel “Forest of Secrets”) is a South Korean Crime drama thriller TV series. With love comes jealousy and complications too. Full House is the story of an aspiring scriptwriter, Han Ji-Eun (Song Hye-Kyo) who lives in her familial hose called the ‘Full House’. She is fooled by her friends that she won a free vacation. As she goes out on the vacation she meets Lee Young-Jae(Rain), a famous actor.

They spend a good time together but never get along due to their contrasting nature. Only after they enter a contract marriage to make Lee Young’s girlfriend jealous they come to know about being attracted to each other. Complicated, right? But it’s an amazing love story with comic scenes to make you love and laugh at the same time.
