Blue Bloods Season 12: What Should We Expect?

Blue Bloods is an American Crime and Police procedural drama series created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess. The series made its debut on the CBS network in September 2010 and has since maintained its pace. Blue Bloods has been renewed for a total of 12 seasons with the 12th season premiering next month, i.e., in October 2021!

The show received high viewer ratings with almost 91% of the Google Users liking Blue Bloods and, the show also received 7.6/10 IMDb ratings!

Blue Bloods revolves around an Irish-American Catholic family that has a history of people working in different areas of Law Enforcement. The series is about THE REAGAN family, as you all know!

The show centers on Frank Reagan and his family of excellent and upright officers. Frank (played by Tom Selleck) serves as the Police Commissioner in New York City and has four kids serving in different legal and police departments. Frank’s eldest son, Danny is an NYPD detective, his second son, Joe was killed in action (around whom the story revolves), his youngest son, Jamie is a beat cop and his daughter, Erin, is a prosecutor!

Blue Bloods is a beautiful blend of family, crime, action, mystery, and drama, where new knots are untied during every season finale! Like the season 10 finale where we knew about “Joe’s” hidden son who neither he, nor the Reagan family knew about! And you know what’s the most interesting takeaway from that? Well, it’s simple! The law runs into the blood of this family as this supposedly hidden son also came out to be a “young detective!”

What To Expect In Blue Bloods Season 12? Any Spoilers? (SPOILERS FROM SEASON 11)

Well, it should be clear by now that the Blue Blood creators are very tight-lipped when it comes to giving out any spoiler or possible storylines to look forward to! But here are a few things that we can expect to see in season 12 of Blue Bloods!

Healthy speculation tells us that we will be seeing a lot more family Sunday dinners (I know, that goes without saying!), but the thing is, there might be new additions to those dinners! Like the times we saw Maria, Jack, and even Lenny at the family table! We all know that those family dinners are full of conversations and that’s what we look forward to!

Additionally, we might hear some good news and not so good for the ones shipping Maria and Danny! Erin and Jack might come together depending on the vague tight-lipped answers given by Wade to the TV Insider, but that’s not sure (Let a fan dream y’all!)

We all know how season 11 ended right? With Frank pronouncing Joe as “his father’s son!”, the time when he gets shot and Danny saves him! This season we might see a whole lot of Joe at the family’s dinner table, but that’s only (a guess!)
