Season 1 of the Anime series was aired from February to October in the year 2007. It is based on the second part of the manga from the famous Japanese manga artist “Masashi Kishimoto”. The plot of the season is set up two and a half years ahead of the time when Naruto and his fellow teammates rescue Gaara from Akatsuki, a criminal organization.
The series was first released on Tokyo TV in the year 2007. The publishers also released seven DVDs and made a huge profit in Japan. After only two years the English dubbed version of season 1 was released on Disney XD and Naruto Shippuden was introduced to the rest of the world.

Naruto Shippuden Season 2
After the first season was over with 32 episodes in total, Hayato Date continued the series for the second season which was aired in Japan from November 2007 to April 2008. This season was in continuation with the previous season but the plot was entirely different. In Season 2, Naruto and his fellow mates try to strengthen their bond with the notorious Uchicha clan’s ninja, Sasuke Uchicha.
As we told you above, Naruto Shippuden Season 1 was released in English in 2009. Season 2 was released right after the previous season was over on the channel, Disney XD.
Other than great action and animation quality, season 2 is also remembered for its theme music. The series has 3 theme songs, one is played during the start of the episode and two at the end.

Following the popularity and huge revenue generated from the first two seasons of Naruto Shippuden, Hayato Date decided to release Season 3 on the 16:9 widescreen for more clarity and user experience. This season became the first season in Naruto history to be released in HQ quality. Good for the fans.
Well, talking about the plot of the series Naruto is on the task to protect a monk who is from Asuma Sarutobi. The monk is in danger from Team Florida, the season showed Naruto in full action, using his Ninja skills.
Season 3 was released in Japan from April to August in the year 2008. And the English fans of the anime got it on Disney XD on 28 October 2009.

For Season 4, the creators came back with the revenge story. In this season, Shikamaru Nara will be avenging Asuma’s death from the ones who are guilty. The plot was simple yet effective.
You can call it the continuation of the previous season’s story. However, season 3 was on air for more than two years. So, creators thought it would be a better idea to break the season and show the revenge in the next season.

Naruto Shippuden Season 5
The next season of Naruto aired in late 2008. The story of this season revolves around the Leaf ninjas, who stop Three-Tails from doing evil, and in a way, they also help a boy named “Yukimaru”.
This season was released on Disney XD on 30 July 2011. But, the telecasters brought the showdown after episode number 98 giving the reason “Too Much Violence”. The rest of the show was resumed on the channel “Neon Alley”.
