Police have charged four people with more than 180 offences as part of an ongoing investigation into a string of alleged robberies, burglaries and fraud offences across 18 different suburbs.
Regional investigations unit detectives have charged the four people with 182 offences in total.
It is alleged the four were involved in numerous incidents between November and January which included armed robbery, stealing cars, burglary, fraud, stealing and criminal damage incidents.
The offences are alleged to have occurred across the suburbs of Applecross, Ascot, Bentley, Carlisle, Canning Vale, Cloverdale, Como, Dianella, Forrestfield, Kensington, Lathlain, Leederville, Maddington, Rivervale, South Perth, Swan View, Thornlie and Waterford.
A 30-year-old man of no fixed address is due to appear before the Perth Magistrate’s Court on Thursday charged with over 100 offences including 103 counts of gain benefit by fraud, 18 counts of stealing and four charges of aggravated burglary.
A 32-year-old woman of no fixed address is also due to appear before the Perth Magistrate’s Court on Thursday charged with more than 30 offences including 23 counts of gains benefit by fraud and five counts of stealing.
A 32-year-old woman of East Cannington has been charged with multiple driving related charges including two counts of reckless driving to evade police. She will face court next month, as will the fourth person, a 38-year-old man from Roleystone whose nine charges include six counts of gains benefit by fraud.
