LIST | Where to register for Phase 1B of the COVID-19 vaccine in northwest Ohio

Finally, the Corona Virus Vaccine is here and almost every country is ready with the doses. The vaccine is to be given to the senior citizens first and it’s a huge challenge for the government to make the list of the providers where vaccination can be done.

On 19 January 2021, Tuesday the phase 1B of Corona Virus Vaccination started in Ohio, Toledo with the priority of vaccinating people above 80 years of age.

Providers from the different counties are selected and they are to provide information on how to register for the vaccination and when will the vaccination be provided to the registered people.

A list of dates is offered on when and who will be vaccinated.

Lucas County

If you are a resident of Lucas County, to know the vaccine provider in your county visit https://lucascountyhealth.com/covidvaccine/. The website will provide you a list of all the vaccine providers in your area. The website also has a map navigation system that will help you in finding the nearest provider.

  • You can click the link to register yourself or you can call the provider to book the appointment.
  • Identification proof such as a driving license, medicare card, resident proof, and age proof is necessary to carry.
  • Only People with the age specified above can go for vaccination. If you are not above the specified age then your appointment would be canceled.
  • You can cancel the appointment 48 hours before the appointment for vaccination.

Wood County

For the residents of Wood County the list of the vaccine providers will be updated on Vaccine.WoodCountyHealth.org, they can also access the list from www.WoodCountyHealth.org after clicking on the link above click on “COVID-19 Vaccines” you will be directed to the list of providers.

  • You can click the link to register yourself or you can call the provider to book the appointment.
  • Identification proof such as a driving license, medicare card, resident proof, and age proof is necessary to carry.
  • Only People with the age specified above can go for vaccination. If you are not above the specified age then your appointment would be canceled.
  • You can cancel the appointment 48 hours before the appointment for vaccination.

Wood County Administration has launched a special website and app for vaccine registration called ArmorVax. If you wish to know more about the registration dial 419-352-8402 and press 1.

Hancock County

The health department of Hancock County is in partnership with 50 North in Finland. The partnership has decided to create a hotline. The citizens can call on the hotline and register themself for vaccination.

  • Time: Monday to Friday – 8 AM to 5 PM

Henry County

The online portal for the pre-registration can be accessed through the link henrycohd.org/covid/. You will be redirected to the website, click on “COVID-19 VACCINE PRE-REGISTRATION PORTAL.”

  • You can click the link to register yourself or you can call the provider to book the appointment.
  • Identification proof such as a driving license, medicare card, resident proof, and age proof is necessary to carry.
  • Only People with the age specified above can go for vaccination. If you are not above the specified age then your appointment would be canceled.
  • You can cancel the appointment 48 hours before the appointment for vaccination.

The Henry County administration is contacting every person individually on phone and telling the vaccination appointment.

Williams County

The senior citizens can now register themselves for the COVID-19 vaccination. The registration will be done by the phone number activated by Williams County. The vaccine will be provided at no cost and insurance may be billed.

Defiance County

The Defiance County health management is working in partnership with Mercy-Health Defiance, Kroger, and ProMedica Defiance. All these are the regional hospitals of Defiance County.

Following is the procedure to register with these regional hospitals:

Kroger: Vist the website kroger.com/i/coronavirus-update/pharmacy to pre-register yourself for the vaccination beginning on 18 January 2021.

Mercy Health: Call- 1-866-624-0366

ProMedica Defiance: Call- 567-585-0670

Ottawa County

Ottawa County has decided to distribute the vaccine with Ottawa County Health Department, Kroger Pharmacy, and Magruder Hospital.

To pre-register yourself for the vaccination you need to fill the form forms.gle/bCX1xcZ261BmCTDs7. The health department and the Magruder Hospital will contact themself with the people who have filled the form.

  • Time: 8 AM – 4 PM

If you do not get a call from the department you are advised not to call the management. The management will call you whenever the next slot is available.

Sandusky County

To pre-register yourself visit the link scpublichealth.com and register yourself for vaccination. You must be a resident of Sandusky County for registration.

  • You can click the link to register yourself or you can call the provider to book the appointment.
  • Identification proof such as a driving license, medicare card, resident proof, and age proof is necessary to carry.
  • Only People with the age specified above can go for vaccination. If you are not above the specified age then your appointment would be canceled.
  • You can cancel the appointment 48 hours before the appointment for vaccination.

Seneca County

The Seneca County General Health administration will contact the senior citizens through email. To register your email address for the vaccination visit the link senecahealthdept.org/vaccine.

The exact dates of the vaccination cannot be given at a time as it totally depends on the number of doses available.

Erie County

The Erie County is in partnership with the Firelands Regional Health system for the Covid-19m Vaccination. The registration for the vaccination can be done at booknow.appointment-plus.com/ct9ql7z8/.

Once the age verification is done. You will be contacted through the phone number you provided.

Note:

  • You must be at the age specified in the Table specified above.
  • No walk-ins will be entertained
