Permission for Manchester car park quashed due to impact on air quality

Planning permission for a a 440-space temporary car park in Manchester city centre that forms part of a council regeneration scheme has been quashed by a judge due to concerns about air quality impacts, although the local authority has insisted that the wider million-square-foot masterplan proposals remain on track.
