Pierre Governor Face Sioux Falls Schools as Season Dwindles – Today’s KCCR 1240-AM – Pierre, South Dakota

The Pierre Governor basketball teams are heading into its final games of the season as both the boys and girls have three games left before the SoDak 16. This weekend the Governor boys will face Roosevelt at home while the girls will be on the road in Sioux Falls to face both Roosevelt and Lincoln.

The Governors last played on Friday when they dropped a three point contest to the Winner Warriors and are now at 6-10 on the season. The Roughriders have won four straight and the two teams could potentially see each other in the SoDak 16.

The Governor girls picked up a big seed point win over Lakota Tech on Tuesday as the Govs sit in tenth place in the AA standings and will face the 11 and 13 team in Roosevelt and Lincoln over the weekend on the road. The Govs will have just one game left, a home contest against Brookings on Tuesday.

Tip-off tonight for both teams will be at 7:00 with the girls playing at 5:00 on Saturday. You can listen to the boys game at home on Today’s KCCR, todayskccr.com and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
