LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) says it has received the delayed Moderna COVID-19 vaccine shipment. Limited first dose appointments will be offered at Cashman Center for eligible groups, based on the health district’s current inventory of both doses.
Cashman will operate from Feb. 24-27, serving those who are:
- Ages 65+
- Healthcare workers
- Public safety and security workers
- Frontline community support groups
Due to the weather-caused delay, SNHD was initially only offering second dose appointments. This latest development allows them to now offer first and second dose appointments.
If you are eligible, you may schedule an appointment here or by calling the COVID-19 helpline at 1-800-401-0946 seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
