As the story moves further in FFX Eternal Calm, the next scene shows Yuna walking on the outskirts of her village. This is the time when Wakka approaches her and talks about the proposal that the New Yevon Chairman’s son offered her. The proposal was to marry him to which Yuna denies and says that she will talk to him by herself. To which Wakka said that he will do it on her behalf.

At that moment a man named Yaibal came to Yuna with the message for the Youth League leader, Nooj. He asked Yuna to join their group, to which Wakka replied that Yuna will not join the league and Yuna added by saying that she will not join any group. Rikku arrives on the ship and Yuna tells Wakka that Rikku is traveling all around the Spira to teach people how to use the ancient Machina. Rikku upon seeing Wakka starts teasing him by asking about Lulu. Wakka starts asking about Kimhari who is at Mt. Gegezet teaching the orphaned.
