If you have the email address associated with the school the students will be able to find other classmates who also have joined Discord Student Hub. You can add your server to the Discord Student Hub.

Discord Student Hub Student Hubs are groupings of students on Discord from the same school which is based on the school email address they provide to Discord. The Discord Student Hub is not officially affiliated with or managed by schools. 

Discord Student Hub is a collection of student-run servers. Discord Student Hub makes it easier for classmates to find and join one another’s servers.

The Discord Student Hub allows the students to find each other and add school-related Servers to a central location. The Discord Student Servers allow the option of replacing pseudonyms with real names to help students find each other and this all takes place on a student’s personal Discord account.

Discord Student Hub allows Students  to connect their self-run Servers. Students and schools have no control over Student Hubs, as Discord Student Hub are automatically-generated and managed solely by Discord. 

Who Has Access To A Discord Student Hub? 

Only people with a school-issued email address can access their school’s Student Hub. Even though the servers listed in the school’s Student Hub are run by students, people do not need to be a member of the Student Hub to be invited to join the listed servers.

How To Get Invited To Discord School Hub?

To get invited to the Discord School Hub, the Discord provides a pop-up window for students to input and verify their school email address. School email addresses are only used to verify Discord Student Hub and it won’t be visible to other Discord users who are not a part of the Institution. 

You can Invite to Discord Student Hub via links to each institution’s Student Hub are sent to school emails and can only be used by accounts which have verified their corresponding institutional email address. Also, the students can opt-out by leaving the Discord Student Hub anytime.

If your Student Hub is not yet available you can sign up for the waitlist.

How To Remove From Discord Student Hub? 

You can remove your server from the Discord Student Hub by hovering over a server preview in the hub on the top right corner to access a smaller menu that includes the option to “Remove from Hub”. You will be asked to confirm before removing the server from a hub.

To leave the Discord Student Hub click on the Student Hub name for a drop-down menu. From here  you can leave the Discord Student hub, in addition to changing your nickname or inviting more classmates. If you decide to leave a hub, you will be asked to confirm prior to leaving.
