How to Use TikTok Without an App or Account?

Did you know that you do not necessarily need a TikTok account to watch the videos? Or even better yet, you don’t even have to download the application if you do not want it to take up space on your device. How do you do that?

Wait up. We will be elaborating on it for you, but one thing’s certain. You CANNOT use TikTok without an internet connection. Therefore, for scrolling through the app, good internet connectivity such as that offered by Xfinity is a must! You want a seamless browsing experience, right? So, don’t waste any time and get in touch with Xfinity atencion al cliente (for Spanish customers) and switch up your internet game.

Now, how can you watch TikTok videos without an app or account? Here are your options:

  • You can use TikTok’s Mobile Browser Website.
  • Use your desktop to access TikTok’s website. It works just as it would on your smartphone.
  • Lastly, you can use a third-party viewing website for TikTok as well.

Keep in mind that you will not be able to specifically follow your favorite account without making your own.

How to Make Your TikTok Account Private?

If you are not someone who is creating content for the public eye and keeping control of your followers, then you must set your account to private. Here is how to make your TikTok account private:

  • Start by opening your TikTok application.
  • Next, click on the profile. It will be at the bottom-right corner.
  • Hit the three-bar menu on the right top corner of the screen.
  • Now, click on settings and privacy.
  • Next, choose the privacy option.
  • Lastly, tap that private account toggle.

Setting your account to private means you will be choosing who gets to follow your account, and whose request gets rejected. It is all in your hands. This means not everyone gets to see what you post on your TikTok.

Also, if you ever want to make your account public; just follow the same instructions and tap that toggle on private to switch to public.

How Do I Recover a Lost Draft?

We all have felt the pain of losing at least one (or more in my lousy cases) drafts on the TikTok account. After much research, we were able to find some answers to what we could do. Here is what we found out during our process of recovering a lost draft.

Recovering your lost draft might be like a test for your luck. This one can get a bit tricky. Allow us to explain;

You must understand that a draft is saved locally. So, for instance, if you made a TikTok draft on the app on your phone, it wouldn’t show up on your iPad’s app. Despite being logged into the same account, the drafts get saved in the device they are created on.

This is the bad news for you. So if you have lost your TikTok draft – it will be gone forever. This is why it is a good idea to make videos first, save them in your camera roll, and eventually compile them into a TikTok. This way at least in case you do lose a draft, you will be able to make a new video all over again.

  • TikTok Data Requests

TikTok data request only restores your previously posted TikToks. The backup does not deliver the drafts whether they are lost or not.

How to Setup Activity Status on TikTok?

Do you want others to see whether you are online or when were you last active? It comes down to your activity status. Here is how you can set up your activity status on TikTok.

  • Go to the TikTok application on your phone, and click on the profile button in the bottom-right corner.
  • Next, click on the three-bar menu present on the top right of the screen.
  • Now, hit the settings and privacy button.
  • Click on the privacy option.
  • Lastly, tap that activity status toggle to switch it on.

Now everyone who follows your account can see if your last active, or online status. However, do keep in mind that if your activity status is off, you won’t be able to view anyone else’s status as well.

How to Enable Auto-Scrolling on TikTok?

Ah, the ease of the videos scrolling on their own without you having to swipe up. This works out, especially in the cold, or sometimes when you are set in your most comfortable position and you cannot touch your phone screen now. Don’t worry, TikTok now has an auto-scrolling feature as well.

How cool, isn’t it? So, how do you enable this auto-scrolling on TikTok? Read ahead to find out.

  • Open your TikTok application on the phone and go to the For You page.
  • Now, keep holding the video playing on the screen. This will open up an array of options for what you can do with the video.
  • Next, choose the Auto Scroll option.

This will enable auto scrolling and once the video is done playing, the app will automatically move on to the next one until you disable this feature.
