But why Elon Musk buy Mastodon? In my opinion he should make it safe. As despite the fact that Mastodon is decentralized, you cannot consider it safe because the posts on it are not end-to-end encrypted. Mastodon immediately issues the following warning when you attempt to send a DM: “Posts on Mastodon are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not share any sensitive information over Mastodon.”
Elon Musk buying Mastodon? Well he should. Musk is the third richest person in the world and the founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX; angel investor, CEO and product architect of Tesla, Inc.; founder of the Boring Company; co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI; president of the Musk Foundation; and owner and CEO of Twitter.
