Items Required For Crafting Beacon In Minecraft
To know how to make a beacon in Minecraft you first need to understand its requirements, such as all the instruments that you make in Minecraft, in the case of beacons also you will need to collect all the raw materials from all around the world. Fortunately, a couple of these materials can be found somewhere near your home only. The third will however take some extra effort to be found!
1. Glass
Beginning with the most simplest item, you will require glass. Glass can be made out of sand, just like the actual life. And sand can be found in any of the deserts or on any Ocean beach.
You need to mine a minimum of five blocks of sand and bring them to the furnace. Put them into the furnace with any of the fuel to make glass.
2. Obsidian
Now, you are supposed to mine or find a minimum of three blocks of obsidian. And not like other rare ores such as diamonds, you cannot exchange villagers to get it.
Mining the obsidian out of the ground is the ideal way to find it. Prior doing this, remember that you need a diamond or netherite pickaxe or else other instruments will just leave the obsidian into two and you will be left with nothing in your hands.
Or you can make obsidian on your own with your hands by pouring water into lava from a water bucket. If you are unable to find lava easily, then dig until you reach 11th layer in the Overworld, or layer 31st in Nether. From that point, start digging horizontally until you find lava, then pour water into it from a water bucket.
If you are successful in finding both lava and water around each other, then you can also mine a way for both of the liquids to meet. Just take care that you don’t fall into the lava because that’s a very quick way to death in Minecraft.

3. Nether Star
And here’s the Nether Star. The Nether Star is a unique material which can only be found by beating the most dangerous boss in Minecraft: The Wither.
Different from the rest of the enemies in Minecraft, it’s much more difficult to find Wither in the Minecraft world, you can’t just find him roaming here and there! Basically you need to craft the Wither yourself with the help of the materials found in the Nether. The Nether is itself a Minecraft sort of thing of the underworld having lots of scary enemies, lava and fire.
So, here’s how you’ll find the Nether Star:
- Make a Nether Portal and get the Nether.
- Mine minimum four blocks of Soul Sand in the Nether. You will find gray-brown blocks on the surface all over the Nether.
- Gather three Wither Skeleton Skulls. Wither skeletons are tough enemies being found in the fortresses all around the Nether, and have a 2.5 percent chance to drop a skull after getting killed.
- In Nether or Overworld – we will suggest the Overworld, since there is more space to escape – stack the soul sand in a T shape, and put three skulls on top of the sand. Run away, after this!
- After a couple of seconds, the Wither will arise and create a huge explosion around itself. Once the explosion gets over, fight and Defeat the Wither. How? That’s upto your skills, but be careful!
- After getting killed, the Wither will drop a Nether Star.
