Samsung has officially revealed the Galaxy Book 2 series. This is not to be confused by the Snapdragon 850-powered Galaxy Book 2 released a few years back. To get a clear picture of this new launch, here is a detailed Galaxy Book 2 Pro review with facts and figures!

Galaxy Book 2 Pro Design
Let’s start the Galaxy Book 2 Pro review with its design.
The Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360’s design hasn’t changed much from last year’s model, except for a few minor tweaks to improve ventilation. It is still made from aluminum alloy. The 15-inch model was surprisingly light for a device weighing in at 3.1 pounds. Even more amazing is the slim profile. Samsung claims it is as slim as a Galaxy smartphone.
The model 13 inches weighs in at 2.2 lbs and is approximately the same thickness. Both models could be used as large tablets for multimedia purposes, such as watching movies or performing other tasks.
Samsung Multi Control is another synergy. You can use your Galaxy Book 2 Pro Series keyboard and trackpad to control your Tab S8. Quick Share allows you to share files to your Samsung Android Phone. SmartThings can also be used to control compatible smartphones. Integrations with Your Phone in Windows 11 allow you to see Android apps on your Galaxy phone from your computer.

Trackpad And Keyboard
The trackpad and keyboard on the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 remain unchanged from last year. The keyboard has approximately 1mm travel. The 15-inch model also has a number pad and a fingerprint reader. The keys are well lit and feel springy.
The touchpad responds to your gestures and scrolls smoothly. The touchpad is also very wide, which is great for a 15-inch device.
Galaxy Book 2 Pro Ports
Not a big difference will be seen in Galaxy Book 2 pro ports, as Ports remain the same between generations. The Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 has one Thunderbolt 4 port and two USB-C ports. It also features a headphone socket and a microSD slot. Dongles are a must, but given that Dell removed the headphone jack as well as the microSD card slot from its XPS 13 laptop, it is nice to see other laptop manufacturers keeping them.
You should also know that the Galaxy Book 2 Pro has additional ports such as HDMI and USB A.

Webcam In Galaxy Book 2 Pro
The Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360’s webcam is outstanding.
It’s one of the most significant generational changes in the updated galaxy book.
The Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 has a 1080p webcam. The 15.6-inch model features an FHD 1080p cam, while the 13.3-inch model boasts a 2.0-megapixel FHD1080p camera.
Samsung claims the webcam can see a wider angle, up to 87° from 77°.
Software features include improvements such as Auto Framing, which keeps you in the frame. Background Effects and Face Effect remove distracting visuals from the background, enhancing your appearance. Bidirectional A.I. Noise-canceling eliminates distracting sounds on video calls from both your end and the other.

Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 Performance
The Intel 12th generation processors are included in this year’s Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360.
The chip is 28 watts in power and contains 12 cores. It is part of the P-series. It has four performance cores as well as eight efficient cores. This hybrid processor is similar to ARM chips, so Windows can better manage background and foreground tasks.
The processor barely used 5% when opening up six tabs in Edge. We know that this is an unscientific test and will continue to explore the results once we have one in our lab.
As said by the company, the Galaxy Book 2 Pro line of consumer computers meets Microsoft’s secure core requirements. This gives Windows 11 an extra level of protection. These features include hardware and firmware that are deeply integrated to increase protection against cyberattacks. These features are typically only available in enterprise systems.
